Requirements Before Installation
Make sure you install the following:
- Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 or higher (skip if using Windows 10 or newer)
- Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2019 (x64)
- Latest version of Script Hook V
Script Hook V must be installed first before installing Script Hook V .NET.
How to Install Script Hook V .NET
Step 1: Install Script Hook V (required).
Step 2: Download Community Script Hook V .NET.
Step 3: Extract the downloaded File.
Step 4: Copy these files thats given into your GTA 5 main directory (where GTA5.exe is located):
- ScriptHookVDotNet.asi
- ScriptHookVDotNet2.dll
- ScriptHookVDotNet3.dll
Step 5: Then Launch GTA 5 in Story Mode.
Installation complete.
Controls
Script Hook V .NET itself does not include default controls. Its a tool need for mods. Controls depend on the specific type of script or mod you install.
Some script mods may use:
- F4 or F5 to open menus
- Custom keybindings defined in .ini files
